The Characteristics Of Success | I’m a go-getter; I need to fill my week with pro-active activities, being pro-active reduces stress and allows work to become more enjoyable. I also try to keep a balanced, healthy lifestyle where I exercise and sleep enough and eat plenty veggies! Reading is also a vital part of my day-to-day; I never go a day without reading because it has the ability to calm me like nothing else.
Lessons I Have Learnt | I’ve learnt that you shouldn’t quit when things get hard, but rather see difficulty as an opportunity to improve. I’ve started to recognise that people are quite predictable, they’ll often complain, shift the blame and judge others for no reason – be mindful that everyone just wants to be loved and those who act out are lacking something.
Resources I Use To Stay Inspired | People: Family and my parent’s friends – older people are great to hang out with as they’ve often got life down, my BFFs from high school/uni and new found friends from work and beyond. Oh and my amazing boyfriend Andrew, who supports me beyond measure. And my Chihuahua Mini-Me, of course.
Books: I love fiction, YA novels to keep me in the loop with my viewers and award winners! Environments: Outdoors as much as possible and I’m happy to be indoors amongst kind/ insightful/ creative people. Movies: I like movies that make you think and sit in your head for a while. Music: A mix of up-beat pop and indie folk.
My Future Dreams And Ambitions | My dreams are to travel more and create opportunities for others. And maybe I’ll write a book one day.On a psychological or mindset level,
How Do You Use Your Mind To Help Achieve Your Goals | I keep rehashing my goals and expectations in my mind, which at times can lead to unnecessary anxiety, but also keeps me pushing forward. The key I think is to keep positive and always just try my best.
The Best Advice I’ve Received | The sun will rise again tomorrow.
Advice On Building Wealth | Take the plunge and get a job when you can. Once you do that, you’ll realise the value of money and saving for what you really want in life. Also take pride and be grateful for your work, because a lot of people don’t have the same kind of opportunities you do. I’m still learning!
