We believe that life is a precious gift and is to be lived to the full. We believe each person has a unique God-given path, that each of us matters and that each of us is powerful beyond our imagination. We believe that ‘success’ comes in many forms, shapes and sizes, that it keeps changing as we change and that it is best defined as a way of going about life, that it is about being being someone – THE BEST YOU, YOU CAN BE – and is certainly NOT a destination. But we also believe life is hard, that success takes work, and that it’s close relatives – abundance and joy – don’t just turn up overnight. We believe success leaves clues which need to be learned and learned and learned, that patterns need to be set, habits and disciplines adopted. And that’s just the start!! What lies ahead is often a long lonely road of 10 000 hours, a soul-searching journey where it will will ultimately only be your grit and your unwavering belief in what it is that you are doing – especially when everyone around you is telling you that it just isn’t going to work – that will see you through to the end.
We also believe that we are all connected and that each and everyone’s existence is deeply tied to that of others – both those that have already adopted a “successful” way of going about their life and those that are yet to do so. And it is our mission to make this connection a reality for as many people as we can around the world.
We do this by acting as the middle-man, essentially as a bridge between you and a select group of exceptional men and women from around the globe, all who we believe have achieved a certain level of ‘greatness’ in their particular chosen path of life and discipline and who all have so very kindly donate their time to be interviewed, in order to inspire, educate and challenge us, as they openly share their unique story – their experience of life, their values, their attitudes, their beliefs, their knowledge, their ‘ups’ and their ‘downs’, their daily rituals and their wisdom – so we too can live an authentic life full of joy, abundance, service and success. In fact a life that will, in time, hopefully also become a Legacy – a compilation of of all the experiences in our life. The totality of ourselves. The life-force that we will pass on to those that remain after we finally pass away.
But the Legacy Project is not only just about their INTERVIEWS and life-stories. Many of our contributors also very generously donate some of their ‘ treasure’ in the form of cash donations which we make available to you across a number of FUNDING initiatives throughout the year.
Many of those men and women who we collaborate with are also continually opening their place of ‘work’ up to many of you to come and sit down and ‘learn through observation and job experience’ by offering 2-day JOB-SHADOWS and INTERNSHIPS.
Rounding off our passion to assist you in learning and developing “your very own ‘home-grown’ successful way of living”, we also offer an online library of unique articles that we have written with Tips and How To’s, as well as summaries of personal development books and films we love, PLUS there’s also an opportunity to get even more deeply involved via some of the paid-for WORKSHOPS, EVENTS and MENTORSHIP programs on offer.
We also want you to know that The Legacy Project is a Social Enterprise Company. All of us who work in it have already been abundantly blessed within our own spheres of work and we carry out our service for you with a huge amount of privilege, humility and joy.
100% of the donations from our contributors and 100% of money received from you for any paid-for Events, Workshops or Mentorship programs is ploughed back into the project for your direct benefit.
We believe we are all better together and to bring this even more to life, we have chosen to partner with the “Red Socks Friday” movement as we aim to not only raise money through the sale of every pair of Red Socks but to also play a very active role in spreading as much life, joy and togetherness as we possibly can on Fridays, through the Wake-Up & Dance series.
Finally, to the many hundreds of contributors over the last 3 ½ years – THANK-YOU.
To the many thousands of readers, subscribers and followers over the last 3 ½ years – THANK-YOU.
To the initiators of The Legacy Project, and now my dear friends, Jason and Elzanne Stewart – THANK-YOU.
I hope we can continue to be of service to all of you as we press on full-steam ahead. May you all continue to be blessed abundantly by this project.
Steve – owner and CEO
